Essential Infrastructure & Services – As a municipality, our key role is to ensure the operation of essential infrastructure and services like potable water, wastewater, solid waste and public safety. Our top priority is the health, safety and well-being of the public and our employees.

We are focusing on maintaining essential services for the Town as follows:

Potable Water – Our water system is secure. The Ridge Water Services Commission operates the water system, which is a closed system and is a fully controlled program via automation. The source water is protected and enters a closed and filtered process. There is no public access to the plant. The water is tested daily by staff of three qualified operators.

Wastewater – Please do not flush paper towel, hand wipes, or anything other than toilet paper down the toilet, as these items will clog our system.

Solid Waste – Regular garbage collection will continue as scheduled. Please ensure that all garbage is bagged and that no loose garbage is in the bin.

Community Policing – The RCMP and our Community Peace Officers are maintaining normal operations. If you have an emergency, please dial 9-1-1. Otherwise call the RCMP Detachment at 403-752-4747 or the Peace Officers at 587-813-0791 for any other questions or complaints.

Raymond Fire Department – The firehall is closed to the public. Our volunteers are an amazing group of people who serve our community and are ready to respond when and if they are needed.

Local Businesses – #SkipTheTripis just as important as it’s ever been. Please continue to shop local and support our businesses. However, please stay home if you don’t feel well.
