The Farm Forum Event is a three-day farm conference Dec. 4-6 in Calgary featuring keynote speakers, farmer and industry-led panel and roundtable discussions, and more than 35 breakout sessions covering a variety of farming technology topics, plus an industry trade show and networking events.
On Dec. 4, the Farm Forum Event will open with a keynote presentation from Greuel. Protein Industries Canada is a government and industry funded supercluster that will reshape the plant protein industry in Western Canada through research, innovation and collaboration.
Greuel will discuss the impact this organization will have in the future of the plant protein sector and how research and innovation can help Western Canada grow their stake in the global market. Genetic improvements, new pathways to global markets and exploring new ways to grow crops could all be on the horizon for farmers.
On Dec. 6, the afternoon sessions will kick-off with a keynote presentation from Driver. Driver will speak to the demand and attention on global food production, which is creating new pressures on innovation and sustainable growth.
