The coffee pot is on at Junction 52 Kitchen

Junction 52 Kitchen is a café located at 19 Broadway North in Raymond, Alta.

“We serve hot coffee and coffee drinks, delicious breakfast and lunch and lots of goodies, including  pecan sticky buns, almond croissants and giant cake slices,” said Keri Marthiensen, owner of Junction 52 Kitchen. “Our soup is also very popular as we make a different on each weekday from scratch.”

Marthiensen she started out selling jams and jellies at different markets and the work eventually evolved into Junction 52 Kitchen.

“I have always wanted to open my own place, and it was a time in my life where it worked,” said Marthiensen. “I feel like it is a dream come true! I wanted to create a gathering place for our community where people could enjoy excellent food and drinks. When the shop is full and people are chatting away and having a great time, it brings me joy! The people of Raymond and surrounding communities have been very supportive. We have many guests who bring in different friends to help promote us and we are so grateful for everyone’s support. They either stay at the shop to enjoy their food or drink or take items out to go! We also do special orders and catering for guests. Most of our business has been word of mouth.  Several of our local businesses in Raymond help promote us. We love Raymond and are proud to have a business here. We have lots of plans ahead for fun community events.”
