On Thursday, Jan. 8 at approximately 2:20 p.m., the Village of Stirling reported a water line break on the north side of Township Road 64A (the extension of 4 Avenue heading east towards Highway 4 into the County). Water users along Township Road 64A were contacted.
Water was turned off to that specific area around 8:30 a.m. on January 9 in order to conduct repairs.
By 10:15 a.m. on Jan. 9, the water line break had been repaired and the system had been re-pressurized.
“Water is flowing once more – to the right places,” reads a statement from the village posted to social media. “Thank you to our contractors for their quick response and repairs, and to our water users for their understanding and patience.”
