Raymond U13 Knights competing at provincials this weekend

PROVINCIALS: The Raymond U13 Knights will be competing at provincials this weekend March 19-22 in Drumheller. “Our team’s season has been a true ‘Mighty Ducks’ story,” says team manager Lisa Schmidt. “We began the year unsure if we would even have a team, starting the season with only 11 players. Even now, we play with a short bench of just 13 players, including our single goaltender. For much of the season, we sat in last place, losing many close games but continuing to work hard and grow as a team. Through perseverance, improved teamwork, and determination, the players climbed the standings to finish 3rd in the regular season.” Building on that momentum, the team went on to win the CAHL Tier 3 league banner.
