Gibbings appointed principal of Magrath High School

Westwind School Division has announced the appointment of Stephen Gibbings as principal of Magrath High School, beginning in the 2026/2027 school year.

Gibbings brings school leadership experience to the position after serving as vice principal of Cardston High School. Through this role, he gained valuable experience supporting students and staff and contributing to a positive school community.

Gibbings will work alongside the Magrath High School team as the school prepares for another year of learning, growth and opportunity for students.

“Westwind School Division congratulates Stephen on his appointment and looks forward to welcoming him to his new leadership role at Magrath High School,” reads a statement from the division.
