Ice Raiders take tough losses over the weekend

The Raymond Ice Raiders had another busy weekend, taking to the ice Friday at home and travelling to Brooks for a Sunday game.

Friday the Lethbridge Threat Peewees came out strong and although the Raiders worked hard, they were unable to keep up with Lethbridge.

When the final buzzer sounded the score was a 5-7 loss for Raymond. Raymond’s goals went to Bella Zaremba (2, 1 assist), Daxon Helgerson (1, 1 assist), Rylen Roersma (1, 1 assist), Janx Zaremba (1), and Jayden Edwards with an assist.  

Sunday afternoon’s game was another disappointment, the team played well on the big ice in Brooks but with four key players missing were unable to stop the Tier 2 team. The final score was a 2-11 loss.  

Raymond’s goals were scored by Daxon Helgerson and Janx Zaremba.
