Playoffs are here for teams in the Central Alberta Hockey League.

In the U11 Division, Magrath is set to take on Crowsnest Pass in the first round. The winner will take on either Cardston or Fort Macleod.

Magrath finished the regular season at 10-5-1, good for 21 points and third place in the Tier 4 Blue Division.

Gibson Bates led the team with 32 points on 26 goals and six assists, while Tymen Allson backstopped the team with a 3.13 goals against average and one shutout.

Raymond finished in seventh place in the Tier 2 Blue Division with 11 points and a 5-10-1 record. Cooper Rodeback was the leading scorer with 33 goals and five assists for 38 points.

Raymond will play Nanton in the quarterfinals.

Raymond’s U13 team finished 4-8-4 in the Tier 2 Blue Division, good for 12 points and fourth place. Tanner Wells paced the team’s attack with 22 points on 17 goals and five assists. Carter Harris also had 22 points on an even 11 goals and 11 assists.

In quarterfinal action, Raymond will take on Fort Macleod.

In U15, Magrath will carry an 8-7-1 record into the playoffs. Magrath finished fourth with 17 points, as Easter Fraser was the team’s leading scorer with 21 points, with 17 goals and four assists.

Last Saturday, Magrath took a 5-4 decision over Picture Butte, as Beau Beier led the way with three goals and one assist. Nixon Barnett had a goal and two assists. Fraser added two assists, while Dayson Loose, Tason Heath and Cohen Brady Michel had one assist each.

Ashton Jensen made 33 saves to pick up the win.

Magrath earned a 3-3 tie on Sunday against Fort Macleod, as Fraser led the way with a goal and an assist. Beier and Erik Quapp had single markers. Barnett, Ryder Harrison and Colton Olson had single helpers.

Kohlman Blackmore made 27 saves to preserve the tie.

Magrath will earn a first-round bye in the Tier 3 U18 playoffs, as the team will await the winner of the Foothills and Pincher Creek quarterfinal.

Magrath finished 13-3 in the regular season, in first place in the Tier 3 Blue Division with 26 points. Blake Roe’s 25 points led the way, as he posted 16 goals and added nine helpers.

The team wrapped up the regular season last Friday with a 3-2 win over Foothills. Knox Tame had a goal and an assist, while Rigin Smith and Rushton Ripley had one goal each. Joseph Noad and Blake Roe had assists, while David Powell Ford Jr. Made 24 saves in net.
