Town of Raymond seeking feedback on MDP

The Municipal Development Plan (MDP) Community Survey is now open.

The MDP helps guide how our community grows and changes over the years ahead. Your feedback will help Council understand what matters most to residents and consider potential updates to the plan.

If you are a Raymond resident or landowner who is 18 or older, we invite you to participate. Survey invitations are being sent by email or mail based on your preferred contact method on file. Paper copies are available at the Town Office.

The survey is anonymous and closes at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 18, 2026.

– August 17 – Join us for the first open house.

– September 9 – Attend the second open house.

Raymond High School Community Open House

Westwind School Division and the Town of Raymond invite students, families, alumni, and community members to celebrate the official grand opening of the new Raymond High School.

Enhanced recycling service coming to Raymond

Starting October 1, recycling in Raymond will be more convenient with access to new curbside recycling pick-up.

This new service will be managed by Circular Materials under Alberta’s Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) framework. Circular Materials, a national not-for-profit, responsible for Alberta’s transition to EPR.

Soon you will be able to recycle more materials like glass containers, foam packaging, flexible and rigid plastic, cardboard and paper and metal containers and packaging right at your curb or at your local depot from October 1.
