Canalta Centre, in Medicine Hat, is a perfect venue for a variety of shows and events. This past Monday night was the only stop in Alberta for The Offspring and Sum 41. The ultimate double-header. Opening up for the two bands was Dinosaur Pile-Up from the UK. Pictured is Canadian band Sum 41 lead vocalist, guitarist and keyboardist Deryck Whibley at Monday night’s show. Also pictured is The Offspring’s lead vocalist and guitarist Bryan “Dexter” Holland (right). All three bands put on one heck of a show, especially for a Monday night. Both Sum 41 and The Offspring have a collection of hits and punk rock/rock anthems, which were a part of the bands’ setlists to the delight of fans from across Alberta and Saskatchewan. Medicine Hat is truly becoming a hub for top-notch entertainment thanks to both Canalta Centre and the Esplanade. In the coming months Canalta Centre will host Bony M Dec. 6, PAW Patrol Live! The Great Pirate Adventure Jan. 14 and Theory of a Deadman Feb. 10.
