A ‘half and half’ week for U11 and U13 Thunder

U11 Tier 4:
Oct. 22 and 23 saw the Cardston Thunder on the road for their games against Okotoks and Taber, where they would chalk up victories against both teams.
The game against Okotoks was nearly all Thunder, with Theodore Plain Eagle netting three goals and an assist, Tanner Wells chalking up two goals and Eddie Little Shields, Parker Levitt, Kylan Cruz and Deigan Cope all tossing up singles for a 9-2 win for the Thunder.
Game two saw the Thunder hit Taber for another nearly lights-out game for the Thunder.
The first period saw goals and assists from most of their roster, with Wells scoring twice, Cruz Blackwater putting up another two, Plain Eagle chalking up two and Little Shields, and Michael Bevans chalking up singles. Taber would score the only goal in the second period.
Period three was again nearly all Cardston, with Wells putting up another three, and Bevans, Cope, and Benjamin White Quills netting themselves singles for a 15-4 victory.
U13 Tier 4:
Oct. 21 and 23 saw the U13 Thunder host a game against Magrath and play visitor to Pincher Creek.
Magrath played well in game one, keeping the Thunder off the board until Karly Heggie potted a goal in the third period to end the game 17-1 for Magrath.
The game against Pincher Creek was a little closer, yet the U13 Thunder was still unable to chalk up a win for the week. Cooper Sommerfeldt Heather put up a goal in the first, with Buddy Fox and Nate Isaac Mandel scoring in the second.
The third saw Keenin Standing Alone and Nixon Sommerfeldt put up goals, ending the game 9-5 for Pincher Creek.
