The 2024 Magrath Children’s Festival will take place on Saturday, September 14 from 2 to 7 p.m. on the field behind Magrath School.
“The event has been organized by the Town of Magrath through the Magrath Family and Community Support Services for the last three years,” said James Suffredine, Chief Administrative Officer for the Town of Magrath. “It has also received huge support from local volunteers of the Magrath Seniors Society who each year have come prepared with amazing crafts and art projects for the children to do.”
Festival tickets, Suffredine says, are $2 each or 3 for $5, and available activities will include crafts, a petting zoo, Stuff N Fluff, a Reverse Bungee, Sparkle Tattoos, Bounce Houses, face painting, and pony rides.
The festival, Suffredine says, will also feature musical guest Maple Fusion from 5 to 6 p.m., a fundraiser barbecue from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. where people can buy a hotdog, chips, and pop for $5, and magician Richard Young from 6 to 7 p.m.
There will also be a concession available throughout the festival, Suffredine says.
