A 30-year-old resident of Blood First Nation is dead following an incident in the Moses Lake area on Oct. 20.

Blood Tribe Police Service and Cardston RCMP were called to a residence shortly after 5 a.m. in the Moses Lake area after a report of a male suffering from a gun shot wound. Life saving measures were attempted, however, 30-year-old Stone Black Rider was pronounced deceased at the scene.
