Raymond drive-in event a success

Approximately 400 locals took part in a drive-in movie event this past weekend in Raymond, and about 130 cars.

“This was a first time event for Raymond and it was very well received,” said community development director Greg Robinson. “We’d like to thank all the volunteers and those that came out to support our first ever drive-in movie event. We showed the movie ‘The Princess Bride.’”

The screen the town secured for the event was four stories tall, one of the largest in Alberta.
