Registration for this year’s Ag Connections opened on July 2, and there are so many great reasons to secure your ticket now.

“What makes this event unique is that it is designed for producers by producers and for people who understand what it is like to be in agriculture,” says Beth Cash, Event Planner and Economic Development Officer at Cypress County. “Every part of the day is designed to offer real value for attendees. Learn, connect; take something back to your farm or ranch. We are so proud of how this event has grown and we encourage everyone to get their tickets on July 2.”

With 448 attendees last year, be sure to secure your ticket soon.

It’s not just attendees who can benefit. There is still time to join the conference as a sponsor, exhibitor, or speaker. Those interested in these opportunities can contact Cash by email at beth.cash@cypress.ab.ca.

Ag Connections, presented by MNP and hosted by the Cypress County and Palliser Economic Partnership, is Alberta’s largest professional development conference for primary producers. The 2025 conference takes place on November 13 at the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede Grounds. This year marks the third year of the conference, which brings in guests from across Alberta and Saskatchewan.

The keynote speakers include comedienne and mental health advocate Jessica Holmes, who is known for her work with the Royal Canadian Air Farce and her appearances with Jerry Seinfeld and Oprah Winfrey. Holmes will present Mental Health: The Good, the Bad and the Funny, in a humorous but very powerful talk that sheds light on this pressing issue affecting producers in Alberta. Also speaking is Shaun Haney, the founder of RealAgriculture and host of RealAg Radio. Haney will discuss emerging trends and current challenges in agriculture. It’s all brought together by emcee Katelyn Duban, host of the Wildrose Farmer podcast.

“We’re proud to see Ag Connections grow into a must-attend event for our cattle and crop producers,” says Cash. “This conference is all about bringing people together – whether it’s to learn something new, share ideas, or just connect with others who understand what it is like to be in agriculture. We’ve built this event with the producer in mind, and we’re excited to keep raising the bar.”

The conference features breakout sessions, expert panel discussions, over 50 exhibitors, networking opportunities, door prizes, and meals; all of this is included with admission.

Get your tickets and mark November 13 on your calendar for this event.
