Mayor Coppieters says good things are ahead for Town of Raymond

As a result of the municipal election held by the Town of Raymond on October 20, Raymond resident Bryce Coppieters is now the mayor of Raymond.

“It has been very humbling for me to go through this process,” said Mayor Coppieters. “I appreciate my family’s support, and the support of so many community members. I also appreciate the trust that this community has placed in me.”

Mayor Coppieters emphasizes that he is ‘optimistic’ that good things are ahead because past Councils have made strategic decisions that have put Raymond in a great place. 

“I hope that this Council continues on a similar course,” said Mayor Coppieters. “The goal should be to collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that Raymond remains a welcoming place that allows our residents to feel at home.” 

The new Council, Mayor Coppieters says, will meet in January for a session where they will meet with Administration to make plans that are intended to help the community of Raymond be the best community it can be.
