Raymond U11 team undefeated to begin 2025/2026 CAHL campaign

Minor hockey season is now in full swing across southern Alberta, and no team is off to a hotter start than Raymond’s U11 outfit.

Raymond is 3-0 on the campaign after a 2-0 weekend, which featured an 8-6 win over Magrath and a 15-6 victory over Irvine.

Beckett Holt led Raymond over Magrath with three goals and one assist. John Baldry also had a hat trick, while Clay Nelson and Jake Walburger added singles.

Scarlett Hofer made 40 saves in net for the win.

Cody Beier had three goals and a helper for Magrath, while Coby Noad had a goal and an assist and Liam Standford added two assists. Beckett Balderson and Davyn Gillam also scored for Magrath, as Dillon Juhascz had one assist. Raylan Owens made 39 saves in net for Magrath.

Against Irvine, Holt had eight points on five goals and three assists, while Walburger put up six points with four goals and two assists.

Nelson had a goal and two assists, and Grayson Bevans picked up two helpers. Parker Bourret added a goal and Jett Boehmer had an assist.

Everett Manning got the win in goal with seven saves.

In U13, Magrath fell 2-1 to Coaldale on Saturday and lost 2-0 to Foothills on Sunday.

Braeden Standford scored for Magrath against Coaldale, as Tymen Allsop made 33 saves in net.

On Sunday, Allsop made 36 more stops to keep Magrath close in the contest. Raymond’s U13 team lost 13-11 to Cardston on Saturday, as Cooper Rodeback had four goals and a helper. Michael Bevans and Karl Russell Jr. both had four points, as each player recorded three goals and an assist. William Clark added a goal and Greyson Court had one assist. Jordan Schmidt made 37 saves in the contest.

Sunday, Raymond and Coaldale battled to a 3-3 draw, as Rodeback scored twice and Russell Jr. added one.

Schmidt made 21 saves in goal for Raymond.

On the U15 circuit, Raymond beat Irvine 5-4 on the weekend. Jaxton Rodeback had two assists, while Hayes Hill, Lane Smith, Cooper Lutz, Hudson Turchyn and Milenko Boljanic all had one goal each. Trigger Heggie, Booker Alston and Finley Court had single assists.

Kalani Purcell made 30 saves to secure the win.

Magrath’s U18 team is 3-1 on the season, and the team picked up a 6-2 win on Friday over Lethbridge, as Ryder Harrison had a four-assist game and Easton Fraser scored three times. Dayson Loose and Clay Christensen each finished with a goal and a helper, while Beau Beier and Adam Chipman both had two-assist performances. Nixon Barnett added a tally and Logan Jensen had an assist.

Evan Bezooyan made 19 saves in goal for the win.

On Saturday, Magrath upended Bow Island 5-1, as Fraser led the way with a goal and an assist. Ty Godlonton, Mason Mehew, Colton Olson and Tason Heath added one goal each, as Loose, Jensen, Beier, Bronson Ripley, Levi Harker and Cooper Godlonton added assists.

Kohlman Blackmore made 17 saves to earn the win for Magrath.
