Chase Wells-Creighton (second year, Exercise Science, Standoff) of the women’s basketball team delivered an exceptional month of November, consistently elevating her play while leading the Kodiaks through a series of hard-fought matchups. Wells-Creighton earned Player of the Game honours three times and was recognized as Kodiaks Athlete of the Week twice, reflecting her steady impact and ability to perform at a high-level night after night. Her leadership was on full display during two significant upset victories, including a win over a nationally ranked SAIT team, where her poise and competitiveness helped set the tone. As one of the team’s leading scorers, Wells-Creighton has been a driving force at both ends of the floor, establishing herself as a true leader on and off the court and a critical contributor to the program’s success this month.

Levi Balderson (second year, General Arts and Science, Welling) of the men’s basketball team delivered an outstanding month of November, helping guide the Kodiaks to a strong 7–3 record while establishing himself as one of the conference’s most reliable long-range shooters. Balderson currently sits second in the ACAC with an impressive 44.9 per cent three-point average, consistently providing crucial scoring from behind the arc. His composure and efficiency were highlighted by being named Player of the Game twice this month, each time stepping up in key moments to shift and maintain momentum for his team. Balderson’s leadership and steady impact have been instrumental in propelling the Kodiaks to 11th in the CCAA national rankings, solidifying his role as a vital contributor and emerging leader within the program.
