The Town of Raymond extended appreciation to Fire Chief Doug Holt for his 40 years of dedicated service with the Raymond Fire Department, including the past 13 years as fire chief, as he retires from his role.

“Holt’s leadership, dedication, and care for residents have helped keep our community safe for decades, and we are grateful for all he has contributed,” reads a statement from the Town.

The Town is welcoming Cory Powlesland as Raymond’s new fire chief, who started on June 1. Powlesland has served the community as deputy fire chief and brings valuable experience and a strong commitment to public service as he steps into this role.
